how is this relevant now?
With everyone being isolated it really isn't the best situation for people who already have existing mental illnesses or people who have developed them due to the pandemic, especially for teachers and students who are forced to go through with this online setup
possible causes of anxiety in eLearning:
Heightened anxiety due to deadlines
May have a hard time concentrating or paying attention while at home
Being in front of others on video can lead to its own anxieties
Students may find it difficult to receive the extra education support they need to succeed
how can you cope?
Stay connected—even when physically isolated-Prioritize staying in touch with family and friends so that you won’t feel alone during this time of the pandemic. There are a lot of social media applications that can help you stay in touch with friends and family.
Stay informed but don’t obsessively check the news- Constant monitoring of the news can do more harm than good because the amount of information that a person can get can be overwhelming or somehow get depressing because of the number of people getting the virus and how the situation gets worse every day.
